The quotes getting me through the year
“There is power in spoken word, but there is longevity once it’s written.” That’s something I heard someone say during lockdown and it has stuck with me ever since. As a journalist, a writer, a lover of words - I can appreciate a good quote. We are always surrounded by amazing people who have great things to say, if only we’d just listen. I have this thing that I started on my notes app years ago called “Life Quotes” where I just jot down things I have heard people say that stick with me throughout the year. Some of them are also thoughts that just come to my mind that I jot down in the moment. This list is a small section of the quotes I got this year so far.

There was even one year where I exceeded that amount of text I could have in one iPhone note - I didn’t even know that was possible!
